Mariah Carrey in Rocky and Bullwinkle???

Apparently, the pop diva Mariah Carrey did a test screening for the character of Natasha (of Boris and Natasha) for the new Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle movie. Originally, this part was gonna go to Cher. I don't know about you, but neither of these actresses seem right for the part of this evil spy partner to Boris. Hmmmmm.... Maybe, Natasha has a singing part....?

Men In Black 2 canned by Sonnenfeld

In a recent interview with Cinescape online, director Barry Sonnenfeld (Wild Wild West, Men in Black) said that he will not make a sequel to the 1997 film, Men In Black. And don't look for Will Smith or Tommy Lee Jones to act in a sequel either. According to Sonnenfeld, their salary demands would be too high. Does this mean there won't be a sequel? I'd say so. If you're waiting for MIB 2, don't hold your breath; You might just get brain damage.

Green Mile script review

Dark Horizons has a script review of the long-awaited Stephen King big screen adaption The Green Mile. It's the story of a prison guard and his experiences with an especially unique inmate guilty of the rape and murder of two little girls in a death row prison during the 1930's. It sounds pretty good.

Here are the films that we'll be taking a look at today...

D U N E
David Lynch directs Kyle MacLachlin, Sting, Sean Young, and Patrick Stewart (among others) in this 1985 sci-fi cult classic. Giant worms, ships with upholstery, blood-drinking, and a floating fat guy.....Man, this is a weird film! Pain is the mind-killer...whoa, man...

The Crow: City of Angels
The sequel to The Crow (1994), this takes place in the Los Angeles of the not-too-distant future. Sarah is now an adult, and The Crow is a young man (Vincent Perez) who was killed with his son... Real love is forever

Disney's remake of their animated film. This one is live-action and stars Jeff Daniels, Joely Richardson, and Glenn Close as the evil Cruella DeVil. Sorry, but the dogs don't talk. 101 Dalmations

STALKER
A fantastic and beautiful Russian Sci-Fi classic about three men's journey through a labirynth-like land known as "The Zone". This is science fiction at it's greatest, yet all of the dazzling effects are within the mind. Within The Zone is...THE ROOM...

The Rocky Horror Picture Show
It's the cult hit that everyone has seen at least once. A fun-filled musical filled with cool tunes, transexuals, two squares, and a spooky castle. Tim Curry is the evil Dr. Frank'n'Furter, and Susan Surandon is the clueless Janet. Science Fiction...Double Feature...

LEGEND
Director Ridley Scott has produced a true gem with Legend, a fantasy movie featuring Unicorns, evil Goblins, faeries, and the devil-like Lord Darkness (Tim Curry). Tom Cruise and Mia Sarah star as the hero/heroine duo. A world full of magic, wonder, and desire.
